Why was tulip called as a symbol of abundance?

Tulip, has been, by nature, considered as one of the rare beauty in the world of flowers. Due to such fact, tulip has been related to its high, divine status in many cultures. In Persian language, it is called 'lale', which in its writing form, consists on the same letters of Allah, the Almighty God for moslem. No wonder it's also regarded as a holy symbol. In Ottoman Empire, such flower symbolised abundance and their peak era when they were the wealthiest kingdom in Middle East, it's called The Tulip Era.Since then, tulip is closely-related to abundance, paradise, divine beauty etc. Now, purple tulip is even only used for the royal families in the world.
